Products and Services

Bloom Scale

Bloom is a guided pour-over coffee scale designed to assist with brewing. While we strive for precision and accuracy, the scale is intended for home use and should not be relied upon for commercial or scientific applications requiring certified calibration.

Companion App

The Bloom companion app is provided as an optional accessory to enhance your brewing experience. The app requires a compatible device and may require updates to maintain functionality.

Waitlist

Joining our waitlist does not guarantee product availability, pricing, or delivery timeline. Waitlist position is informational and does not constitute a purchase agreement or reservation.

Open Source Components

Bloom's hardware designs and firmware are released under open-source licenses. You are free to modify, build upon, and distribute these components in accordance with the applicable license terms.

Open-source components are provided "as is" without warranty. Any modifications you make are your responsibility, and we are not liable for issues arising from modified hardware or firmware.

User Responsibilities

• Use Bloom products in accordance with provided instructions
• Keep your scale away from water and excessive moisture
• Do not attempt to modify the scale in ways that could cause injury
• Provide accurate information when joining the waitlist or making purchases
• Respect our intellectual property and trademarks

Intellectual Property

The Bloom name, logo, website design, and marketing materials are protected by intellectual property laws. While our hardware and firmware are open source, the Bloom brand and trademarks remain our property.

You may not use our branding to imply endorsement or affiliation without written permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bloom shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our products or services.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product or service giving rise to the claim.

Warranty

Bloom products come with a limited warranty covering manufacturing defects. Warranty details will be provided with your product purchase. This warranty does not cover damage from misuse, modifications, or normal wear and tear.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
